The seated military press is a variation of the overhead press and an exercise used to build shoulder strength and muscle.
- Sit down on the bench and with the bar rested on your chest using a pronated grip.
- Exhale and press the bar horizontally to lock out your arms.
- Inhale, then lower the bar until your upper arms are horizontal to the floor, and the bar is between your chin and nose.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
